Moving and Packing 101

Moving houses is always a new adventure. You move into a new house and territory which is most of the time in a new neighborhood. It is always fun and exciting except for one part : PACKING!!! It is the worst part of the move; it is not fun at all. It is just endless hours of packing up furniture, dishes, clothes and so on. It takes a lot longer than you think it does.

I am moving houses so that means....packing. We have been packing for about almost a month now and we have barely made a dent. One of the worst rooms to pack is your bedroom. At first it seems easy when you pack the simple books and clothes (the big things). But, once you get to the junk and small things that have been building up in your room over the past years is not so simple. Some things you don't know what to do with it! Should I throw it out? Or should I keep it but, I might not use it though. Also, you get very distracted. You find things that you never knew you had, or haven't seen in years. It took me total of about two days to pack up all my things. It probably should have only taken about one day but I got so distracted by all the old photographs and clothes.

I think that boxes are also WAY too expensive. Each box is about $3.50 for just a cardboard box that you will never use again. You also need so many of them my room by itself took 4 boxes. Well I do have a lot of clothes though....

Something that I found that helped me pack were music and TV. It makes it go by a lot quicker and you have entertainment!

Summer Trends 101!

The summer is all about style!

There is always new trends every summer. Some summer you look in the stores and you just go " WOW" with all the beautiful bright colours and threads because, that is what most people like in the summer great trends with bright and wild but tamed colours! But, some summers when you walk in the stores your eyes don't attract to anything your eyes are just a bore with all the taupes, blacks and whites. In my opinion, I think that this is one of the summers where it is a bore: the stores and retailers have not been doing a great job with all of their summer collections.

For the fashion trends some of the fabulous trends for the summer are rompers,floral pattern pants and sundresses, hair bows, above the knee socks and, stripes. Personally I am not finding many of these trends in major stores. Considering the summer colours for 2010 are indigo, cardinal purple, lemongrass, peppermint.... the retailers are not doing very well.

Overall ,I love the trends for summer 2010 but hopefully the retailers will step up their game or all least lets get some major SUMMER SALES!

Summer Tunes 101!

Some people say that the songs of the summer can make or break the summer. The tunes are everything, you listen to them everywhere if it's not blasting them in the car, on the dock or even just a summer party's play list. As I want to be in the music business (as a producer) music is something important to make a summer's playlist great and have those summer jamming songs!

Especially if you are having parties the guests will not like having one artist and one type of music ex- rap.

Summer 2010 Here I Come!

Well, now that it is summer again I decided have to start blogging again. I am sorry for the delay of blogging but this year I have been very busy. This year has had its up and downs. It seemed to last forever. It has made me nothing but stronger!

It is time to start fresh with a new summer! This summer is going to be very busy for me from moving, camp and just having a ball of a time! I still have all my outputs on life and my very many different opinions.
